Facebook, Google to test IPv6
Web addresses are likely to run out as soon as November and to raise public awareness Google and Facebook have decided to switch their websites to a new system for one day in June.
On June 8, a whole bunch of web giants, including Google, Facebook, Yahoo, will turn on a new way of running web addresses, reports the Telegraph.
The system, called IPv6, has been designed to stop the world running out of the web addresses that underlie the locating of websites and devices.

ISRO to launch three satellites in 1st quarter of 2011
Three major satellite launches are planned during the first quarter of this year by ISRO, whose recent mission to launch the GSAT-5P communication satellite onboard homegrown GSLV-F06 rocket failed.
'Resourcesat-2', an advanced remote sensing satellite, 'Youthsat', a participatory scientific mission with payloads from Russia and India and X-sat, Singapore's first indigenous satellite, would be launched on board PSLV C-16 in February, March and April, ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishnan said here.
"We have three major missions slated in coming February, March and April. Among them Resourcesat-2 is meant to replace Resourcesat-1, launched in 2003, to provide data connectivity," he told an international conference at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre ( VSSC ) here.

ISRO gears up for Dec 25 GSAT launch
Indian space scientists are gearing up for the Dec 25 launch of the advanced communications satellite GSAT-5P. The new entrant will retire INSAT-2E sent up in 1999 and will ensure continuity of telecom, television and weather services.
'The countdown will begin Friday 11.04 a.m. and the rocket will be launched at 4.04 p.m. Saturday,' S. Satish, director at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), told IANS.
The 51-metre tall geosynchronous satellite launch vehicle (GSLV) carrying the 2,310 kg GSAT-5P satellite will blast off from the second launch pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh, around 80km from Chennai.

Paul the Octopus DEAD: Football Prediction Hero
Paul Allen the Octopus, who rose into stardom during the FIFA worldcup matches during 2010 has died.
The eight legged psychic creature who lived in the Sea Life Centre in Oberhausen, Germanydied due to natural causes. He was aged 2 1/2.
The Octopus which has a 100 per cent record of predicting all the matches played by Germany which includes matches in the FIFA World Cup 2010 and the UEFA Euro cup 2010.
