General Conditions:
- The posts are temporary but likely to be continued indefinitely.
- At present the place of posting is Ahmedabad but liable to be transferred to any of the Centres/Units of the Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space elsewhere.
- Age as on 05/10/2010: Age-Limit:-18-35 years. Relaxation in upper age limit by 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates. Ex-servicemen and Departmental candidates are eligible for upper age relaxation as per Government of India’s rules.
- Pay Band : (PAY BAND-1 for all posts) : Rs.5200-20200 PLUS
--a) Grade Pay of Rs.2000/- For post Nos.01 to 06 and 09 to 10.
--b) Grade Pay of Rs.2400/- For post Nos. 07 & 08. - How to apply: The last date for receipt of application is 05/10/2010. Completed Application in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) should be submitted on plain A4 size paper duly filled in and signed.
- Applications should be accompanied by attested true copies of relevant certificates of qualifications/mark-sheets / experience / proof of date of birth, caste, Ex-servicemen, etc. and a recent passport size colour photograph pasted at the space provided.
- Stipulated experience will be reckoned only after acquiring essential qualification (for post Nos. 07 & 08).
- Candidates applying for the Post No.3 of Technician `B’ - Fitter (Reserved for Persons with Disabilities), have to submit attested copy of Disability Certificate in the prescribed format as per Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, New Delhi vide Office Memorandum No.36035/3/2004-Estt (Res) dated December 29, 2005 clearly indicating the percentage of disability, issued by Medical Board consisting of at least 3 members out of which one shall be a specialist in the particular field for assessing locomotor disability, duly constituted by Central or a State Government. Minimum degree of disability for locomotor disability is 40%.
- Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Organisations should apply through proper channel. In case they anticipate any delay in forwarding their applications, they may submit advance copies before the due date. Such candidates should invariably produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Employer at the time of Test/Interview.
- Candidates whose applications are received against this advertisement will be short-listed based on the defined screening guidelines and those screened-in alone will be called for Test.
- Only short-listed candidates will be called for Test/Personal Interview as the case may be.
- Outstation candidates who are called for interview will be paid to and fro Second Class Railway Fare by shortest route or bus fare, whichever is less, on production of proof of journey such as the Railway Tickets or Bus Tickets, etc. Sleeper class fare only will be paid subject to production of copy of Railway Tickets or bus tickets etc.
- Candidates should produce original testimonials/certificates, as a proof of the details furnished in their applications, at the time of Test & Interview for verification failing which they will not be allowed to appear for Test/Personal Interview nor the cost of the travel reimbursed /paid .
- Selected candidates will be required to join the post immediately on being found fit by the prescribed Medical Authority.
- No correspondence will be entertained with the candidates who are not screened in for
Test/Personal Interview/appointment. - The last date for receipt of applications is 05/10/2010: Applications complete in all respects along with ATTESTED TRUE COPIES of certificates, mark-sheets, etc. properly tagged/stapled, should reach the following address:

“ADVT.NO.SAC: 03/2010, APPLICATION FOR THE POST (TRADE /POST NO. ____)." - Incomplete applications like those without photograph, signature, mark-sheets, Provisional/Original National Trade certificate, caste/tribe certificate (if applicable), application not in the proper format and those received after due date will be rejected outright. The Organisation is not responsible for Postal/Courier services delay.
- Candidates may appear for the interview in Hindi in case they prefer so.
- Only Indian Nationals need apply.
- SAC reserves the right not to fill up any of the posts.
