The most awaited and hyped release of the year, Orange, which had created ripples even before its release. Love and its myraid of colours - a favourite topic of indian cinema and especially tollywood has been again explored in this movie. However, the movie differs as it explores the modern day relationships and the lack of fatih in love & long-lasting relationships. Orange stars Ram Charan Tej, who has shifted from the mass-oriented roles to a lover boy image where he is skeptical about love and the longevity of relationships.Shazahan Padamsee, debutante heroine, plays the role of Tej's girlfriend who does not approve of his ways and habits. This leads to Ram Charan always lying to her about his ways and this leads to their falling apart from a relation. Genelia D'souza does a Bomarillu again, only this time she is irritating with her artificial chirpiness and over-activeness which gets onto your nerves after a while. However she sobers down in the second half of the film to reveal a sensible side to the role. The rest of the story is all about Ram Charan trying to prove that couples in love do not last long and falling in love phenomenon is not forever. With most of the movie having been shot in Sydney, you get to see some stunning visual delights and cool, stylized looks for the various actors. The music for the movie is composed by Harris Jayaraj and the songs have topped the telugu music charts. Overall, the movie is a good effort at trying something new and will call in the audiences effortlessly.......... Review | |||
