The sequel Rakta Charitra Part 2 will show you the other side of the coin i.e. it is Surya Narayana Reddy, aka Maddelacheruvu Suri's revenge on Paritala Ravi because the latter had killed Suri's entire family. This movie will also show the cold-blooded conspiracy and the trick plots set by Suri which was done for taking revenge against Paritala Ravi.
Rakta Charitra 2, will feature Surya, the hero of Ghajini fame as Suri, a blood-thirsty, revengeful characters who is in imprisonment. Ram Gopal Varma chose to make the film in two parts because he wanted to show both the facets to Paritala Ravi's life; one as the messiah and powerful politician who turned to be the Saviour of many people, the other side portrayed him as the target and the object of wrath of a wronged man...
However, the sequel is filled with too much violence and show numerous ways of inflicting pain & torture. After 2 hours of mind-numbing torture and extreme violence where heads, limbs and all sorts of body parts are ripped apart, RGV chooses to advocate and be preachy at the end by showing the senselessness of violence. This message is lost somewhere due to the heavy duty effect of all the blood flowing endlessly and bodies being ripped apart mercilessly.
Southern Star Surya had done a good job in this film as his presence is effective and conveys the anger, revenge he has through his eyes.
Vivek oberoi, who performed well in the first sequel, has not stood out in this film as all he does is flaring his nose and being angry about everything.
Overall, Rakta Charitra 2 does not live up to the expectations of the aam junta and is not as good as its prequel.
