Veera movie review

Mass hero Raviteja is back after Mirapakaya with another action flick Veera. Raviteja plays a dual role in this film and has the stunning Tapsee and Kajal as his leading ladies. The movie revolves around Veera and Deva the dual characters of Raviteja. Veera is a cop while Deva is a bodyguard. The story begins with ACP Shyam arresting gangster Dhanraj's son for eve teasing. The government appoints Veera as bodyguard to Shyam. However his place is taken by Deva. The rest of the story is about unravelling the mystery behind Shyam, Dhanraj and Veera.

The movie is brilliant in patches and there is an overdose of senseless violence. The basic script itself suffers from heavy dose of mindless violence and screenplay is the real culprit. Director Ramesh has not got the screenplay or dialogues right. Music by S Thaman is mediocre and the songs just do not remain in mind. Kajal Agarwal essayed her role as a village girl with finesse. Tapsee is just absolute dud and looks like she is happy flaunting her assets in movies. Brahmanandam and Venu Madhav's comedy is inane and does not go well with the movie and its time they take a break from this stuff.

The final verdict is that Raviteja's fans are going to be disappointed with his latest offering. The audience will find it difficult to adjust to the illogical screenplay where you see a comedy scene, followed by an action sequence with raw violence. The movie plot lacks the suspense to keep the audience interest sustained
