Bajaj Auto will be launching a 150 cc Boxer bike which will be christened as Bharat Bike later this year. A report in The Business Line states that Bajaj Auto will introduce the Bharat bike in the 3rd quarter of this year at a price tag of Rs 40,000 approximately.
Bajaj has specially developed Boxer 150 cc for the rural India. Bajaj aims to replace age-old existing motorcycles like Rajdoot, Yezdi, etc with Boxer 150. Powered by a 4 stroke engine, Boxer 150 will generate decent power and torque to take on the likes of Yezdi and Rajdoot.
Bajaj Auto’s Boxer series of motorcycles is known for its stupendous on road mileage it delivers. But those figures are for the 100 cc variants. With the 150 cc variant, Boxer will not be able to deliver impressive mileage figures.
